Here’s a beauty of a tape. It’s dated 30 April 1989, so it’s guaranteed to be a gift for my 18th birthday. I’d asked people to give me something Texan, and damn did they come thru. Most of the artifacts have long since disappeared, but some, like this, are the bad penny.

It’s a fine old collection of songs too. I’m wondering if I even could actually find some of them on MP3?

Note the Twink on the last three songs. Some receptionist made a fortune off that stuff, splashed as it was throughout my adolescence.
