For the same reason Second Chef needs jewellery

Tiny shoes are for falling off tiny feet. One at a time. Usually in the library, or the supermarket.

and after you loose the shoes you loose the socks
and then the hat

Booties are require for their tiny feet when it’s cold outside so their tiny toes don’t turn blue and fall off. Babies lose heat through their extremities even faster than you do.
Actual shoes with soles are a bit silly.

I’ve always mantained that coming up with booties and hats that stay on would be a sure way of making millions, but based on the evidence it cannot be done. Perhaps it’s not a matter of designing better baby-clothing so much as of designing better babies.

ok. have yet to check this one over with second chef, but i’m thinking that some kind of spray-on telfon/silicon gel dealis probably the best bet to solve these issues.
it’ll need to be breathable, and easy to peel off… hmmm… better get the boffins onto it.

Because they’re so cute, and surely the shoes will complete the whole cute ensemble… and once you get you own baby you need to emphasise that cuteness – this is a live doll you realise
(Also they, the babies, don’t stay that small and cute for very long and then you can hang them, the shoes, from your car mirror as reminder of when they, the baby, was cute)

Because the are a baby fashion accessory and serve little useful purpose. It took me until baby #3 to find anything that stayed on (Bobux) but they were usefull in winter for keeping socks on. I could never figure out booties though either but was inundated by them.
Tights fixed the whole socks staying on issue – my kids ripped their hats off no matter what until I started dressing them all in baby hoodies which are more difficult to loose.
In the end everyone just does what works for them

I have two words for you: Velcro implants.

I understand shoes. What I do not understand is
High heels.
She has her whole life to ruin her feet, why start so early?

Next best question… how come your Acer has a styley blue light around the power switch and mine doesn’t?

You can make the hats and booties stay on using a common staple gun…or Liquid Nails. Either works fine, and the clean up is minimal…good luck!
